Tucked in against the ski hill on South Davis Street, the Mountainside Inn offers guests a prime location in Telluride town, within easy walking distance of festivals, Main Street and skiing. The ski run literally runs alongside the south most building of the Inn. To access Lift 7, guests can walk across the Carhenge carpark that adjoins the property. For the more adventurous skiers, there is the possibility to ski right to your door at the Mountainside Inn by dropping in from the bottom of Telluride Trail ski run. The main gondola station can be accessed by walking less than 5 minutes to the east.

Muscatel Flats Condominiums perch on the banks of the San Miguel River, across from the Telluride Town Park. Winter in Town Park offers ice-skating at the Hanley Rink, sledding, and Nordic skiing. The shared decks on the southeast side of Muscatel Flats lead to a common hot tub overlooking the Hobgood Wetlands and river overlook. Views of the surrounding mountain peaks abound, with Ajax to the east and Ballard to the south. From Muscatel Flats, the Gondola is a 4-block walk, or pick up the free in-town Galloping Goose shuttle at the corner and ride it around to the lifts. The restaurants and shops of historic downtown Telluride are a short walk up the street.
