Backed by the beautiful San Sophia Ridgeline in Mountain Village, Petra Domus is a 3,300 square foot, 4 bedroom 4.5 bath stone home in an incredible mountain setting. The spacious great room has vaulted ceilings, wood beam detail, a massive stone fireplace and plenty of cozy living space. Enjoy views of the San Sophias through the large south-facing picture windows. A lovely dining table with seating for up to eight sits adjacent to the gourmet kitchen. French doors off the great room lead to the large outdoor deck with another beautiful stone fireplace and sitting area. The entire lower level of the home is occupied by a bunkroom lined with wood beam detailing, an antler chandelier and stone wall with large flat screen TV. Four twin size beds, set up as two bunks, occupy the wall opposite the TV, while a large sectional sofa sits in the middle of the floor. A foosball table and wet bar separate the bedroom from its en suite bath. French doors opposite the en suite bath lead out to the home’s private hot tub. A few steps from the main house is the guest house with kitchenette and queen guest suite. Exquisite from top to bottom, inside and out, Petra Domus is a true masterpiece in the Mountain Village. Welcome to Rocky Road Haus! Tucked just right in amongst the quaking aspens and old-growth spruce, this Bavarian-Esque-styled home is ideal for families and friends. This home features an in-wall oxygen system, delivering fresh O2 to two hoses in the living room and two hoses in each of the bedrooms. Perfect for preventing altitude sickness for those guests coming from lower elevations. Between the main and guest house, there are eight bedrooms for ample sleeping arrangements and utmost privacy. In the main house there are six bedrooms on various levels. The bunk room downstairs is the den for kids to hide away and play. Over in the guest house, there are two more bedrooms and a unique lofted space with a playful ladder to climb. Plus, there is a romantic cedar hot tub just off the main bedroom. The flagstone flooring and oak inlay woodwork compliment the oversized log cabin feel, then adorned with two-story windows to perfectly frame the San Sophia Range beyond.
