Outside, Hord Retreat has a large heated patio and massive hot tub with breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. Featuring high end appliances, such as a large Wolf gas stove, granite countertops and mountain views, the gourmet kitchen is a culinary haven. The adjacent breakfast nook offers a cozy dining experience with leather couches, large arched windows and flat-screen TV. In the formal dining room, an antler chandelier is at the center of the long dining table. An opulent retreat on its own floor, the master suite at Hord Retreat features a dual-sided fireplace that warms both the bedroom and the separate den, home to a 42-inch flat-screen TV. A great place for youngsters, the bunk room has four oversized bunk beds, flat-screen TV and private bath. It has gorgeous views of the forest and mountains. The massive great room has a large wood-burning fireplace, 25 foot vaulted ceilings, and access to the spacious deck with covered seating and a gas grill. There’s a gourmet kitchen and a formal dining area. There are steam showers in both the master bath and the media room bath. A laundry room, a full office, and a private wireless internet network complete the list of amenities. There is garage parking for one vehicle as well as three driveway parking spots.

Tucked in against the ski hill on South Davis Street, the Mountainside Inn offers guests a prime location in Telluride town, within easy walking distance of festivals, Main Street and skiing. The property contains hotel rooms as well as condominiums. Amenities include an outdoor hot tub, guest laundry facilities, and onsite parking. The ski run literally runs alongside the south most building of the Inn. To access Lift 7, guests can walk across the Carhenge carpark that adjoins the property. For the more adventurous skiers, there is the possibility to ski right to your door at the Mountainside Inn by dropping in from the bottom of Telluride Trail ski run. The main gondola station can be accessed by walking less than 5 minutes to the east.
